Cameroon, here we come!

It’s D-day today for the 36 Brussels Airlines colleagues participating to Bike for Africa 2018. This year’s edition brings us to Cameroon, where we will bike from Bangangte to Petpenoun. The 328km long journey will start on Friday 2 March, but today we already hop on board of SN371 Brussels - Douala to enjoy an acclimatization day tomorrow.

Each year we see a lot of known faces in the Bike for Africa family, but as always we also have a few new members in the team! Frederik, Patrick, Herman, Martine, Kirsten and Niki, Rudi, Anton, Carine and Jan join us for the very first time and all of them are super excited to drive their bikes through the beautiful scenery of Cameroon.

It’s almost time to take off now, but not before taking our traditional group picture!

Once arrived in Douala, we’ll transfer to Melong by bus, where we will spend the night. Tomorrow we’ve planned a visit to the Ekom waterfalls, the largest ones in Africa! So stay tuned for some stunning nature pictures… See you tomorrow!
